Tips For Dry Skin

Dry skin is really a problem if not monitored properly. In winters, you may become stressed thinking about your skin condition. You cannot just leave the skin alone without progressing towards the care to be taken.

Dry skin can show symptoms such as scaling of the skin membrane, itching and cracking of the skin. All these are caused due to loss of moisture from the skin which gradually opens up the pores and discourages the texture.

Henceforth, follow simple tips which can help you have a soft and glowing skin even in dry conditions.

Use oil for cleansing:

No need to shock. It is true that oil is a good cleanser. Not only you have to remove the dead cells caused due to dryness, but also you will require repairing the damage cells. Castor oil can do this for you.

Take a bowl and add three spoons of olive oil to one spoon of castor oil. It is better if you warm the mixture a little. It would be more effective. Apply the mixture on your skin. Then take your towel and warm it. Keep the warm towel on the areas where you have applied the mixture until the oil penetrates completely to the pores. Castor oil penetrates deeper than any other oil.

Do a honey treatment:

Honey is naturally the best for every kind of skin care. Dry skin needs scrubbing for most of the time. But any scrubber used without moisturiser is in vain. Therefore if you are using a scrubber then have a little honey with it too.

Take two to three spoons of honey in a bowl. Add three to four drops of orange juice. Rub against your skin gently in circular movements. Then leave it for about ten minutes and then wash off.

Egg as a pack:

Eggs are enriched with protein. They are healthy internally as well as externally. The question is: which portion of the egg is to be used for a cafe pack in winter??? Well, it’s the yolk.

Take a container and put the egg yolk in it. Add orange juice, castor oil, olive oil and honey to the yolk each of one spoon. Mix well by simultaneously adding rose water and fresh lime juice. Apply this mixture on the face before bathing.

Chocolate as a pack:

Melted chocolate is highly beneficial to dry skin and provides instant glow to the same. It makes the skin soft and smooth.

For this pack, numerous ingredients are required. Take a bowl and add five spoons of cocoa powder and honey. Blend it well and add two spoons of maize flour. Mash a ripe avocado and add two spoons of it to the mixture in the bowl. Give the mixture a thorough blend. Apply the pack on the skin. Wait for at least half an hour and then wash off with warm water. You will observe the difference in the texture of the skin after giving it a wash.

Using curd as a face pack is effectual for dry skin. Curd acts a natural moisturiser and softens the flaky skin without giving much effort. It is easy to avail and simple to use.

Take a clean container and add required amount of curd to it. Pour honey accordingly. Blend it thoroughly and apply on the skin. Leave it for about an hour and then wash it off with cool water. Pat it dry with a soft towel.

Besan pack:

Besan keeps the skin hydrated and moisturised. Wrinkles caused due to dryness can be easily removed using besan pack thus slowing the aging process.

Take a container and add two spoons of besan along with one spoon of turmeric powder and honey. Mix well by adding small amount of milk. Add some fresh lime juice and apply it on the face. After it gets dried wash off with warm water.
