Sandwiches To Help You Lose Weight

Sandwiches are modern breakfast and also taken as a full filler during snacks time. Sandwiches are of various types. Here we have some varieties of sandwiches that help in reducing weight.

(The ‘pinch’ levels are for a single sandwich)

 

  • Recipe 1:

Nut Sandwich:

Ingredients

Almonds

Cashews

Groundnut

Nuts (as desired)

Olive oil

Honey

Procedure:

  1. Fry the nuts with or without ghee / oil.
  2. Powder the nuts. Be sure that the nuts are not fully powdered.
  3. Add a quarter spoon of honey with the half powdered nuts.
  4. Apply a very low amount of olive oil on the bread slices.
  5. Take a spoon of the nut paste and place in between the slices.
  6. Serve on the plate and garnish with bits of jam. Note that the limited amounts would not exceed. If exceeds, it would give more sweetness; and could not lead to eat more and satisfy hunger.

 

  • Recipe 2:

Spinach Sandwich

Ingredients

Spinach (desired amount)

Olive oil – 1 spoon for 1 cup of spinach

Pepper – as desired

Salt – as desired

Fenugreek – 3 to 4

Turmeric powder – a pinch for a cup

Cardamom powder – a pinch

Coriander powder – a pinch

Curry leaves powder – a pinch

Mustard – half a spoon

Procedure:

  1. Clean the Spinach and wash away twice.
  2. Cook the spinach in water. Water should be more.
  3. When cooked, drain the water in a cup.
  4. Take the cooked spinach and make sure that it is free of water.
  5. Add a spoon of Olive oil to the pan and heat.
  6. When boiled, add the fenugreek and add all the powders in the oil. Make sure that the contents are not burnt. Because, when you put the powders, it will immediately burn and results a waste. So it would be better to take the pan out off the stove and add the powders.
  7. Add the cooked spinach to the ingredients in the pan. Mix well and heat.
  8. Add the limited amount of salt.
  9. Place the spinach prepared in between the bread slices.
  10. Add salt, pepper powder, half a pinch of turmeric powder and coriander powder to the drained water that we have collected in a cup. Stir well and heat.
  11. Serve the bread slices hot and place the soup as a healthy drink.

 

  • Recipe: 3

Green Sandwich

Ingredients

Bread slices

Butter – as limited

Pepper powder – a pinch

Ghee / Olive oil – a spoon

Green leaves – a mixture of desired green leaves (any as desired)

Coconut milk – a spoon

Ginger – 1 piece (clean and make as paste)

Garlic – 2 pieces (clean and make as paste)

Fenugreek powder – half a pinch

Turmeric powder – half a pinch

Mustard – half a spoon

Salt – as desired

Coriander powder – half a pinch

Curry leaves powder – half a pinch

Cardamom powder – half a pinch

Procedure

  1. Clean and rinse the green leaves with water twice or thrice.
  2. Chop the green leaves into small pieces. Mix all the powders and have in a cup.
  3. Fix the burner at minimum heat. Heat the pan and add a spoon of Olive oil. Mix ginger-garlic paste as one.
  4. Add mustard, and then add the ginger garlic paste. Mix well.
  5. Make sure that the paste has cooked rightly, and then add all the powders to the paste and mix.
  6. Add the chopped green leaves to the ingredients and heat.
  7. When cooked, add the coconut milk and stir well.
  8. Finally, add a pinch of salt and mix well.
  9. Place a quarter spoon of butter to the bread slices and then place the green leaves mix in between the bread slices. Serve it with hot pepper water. It would satisfy hunger and also good for health.
