Natural Shampoos available in India
Indian women are very fond of long shiny black hair. They try and practice so many home made shampoos to maintain their healthy hair. The already well known homemade shampoo is the best. But the modern women in need of time management, they search for natural shampoos in shopping zones. - Shikakai Shampoo
- Components needed :-
- Shikakai – 50g
- Fenugreek – a table spoon
- Soap nut / Retha – 4 to 5 fully with seeds
- Dried Amla pieces – 4 to 5 pieces
- Hibiscus flowers / leaves – 3 or 4
- Henna leaves – 3 or 4
- Soak Shikakai and Reetha in hot water for an hour. Break the Reetha seeds and soak.
- Soak fenugreek in water separately.
- Now grind the Shikakai and Reetha with seeds in a mixture.
- Then add the soaked fenugreek with the mixture and grind. If the paste is thick, add some water that the shikakai was soaked.
- Add the leaves with the mixture and grind.
- Check the paste to be soft and mild. If thick, add water.
Gently apply the shikakai reetha paste over the wet hair and massage gently. Then rinse with water. Clear the head thoroughly. Cover the washed hair with a dry towel for 5 minutes. Then remove and wipe the hair. Expose it to natural fragrance and then to sunlight.
