Which is why Team inat.com has it all sorted so you can enjoy and cherish your D-Day to the fullest. Muslim weddings aren’t as elaborate as a Hindu wedding. The makeup for a Muslim bride doesn’t have to be very bright as your jewellery and outfit are already going to be heavy. While you can always hire a professional makeup artist, it is always a cause of concern as to how the final result will be. Since no one knows your skin better than you do, here is a tutorial which will make you look as royal as an empress!
Clean your face with a facial cleanser, dab a mild toner and follow it up with a moisturizer. This step is often skipped, but this is an extremely important step as it will not only remove dust and grime from your skin but also prevent breakouts.
Use a concealer to cover any dark spots, zits, blemishes and dark circles. Blend the concealer well using your ring finger or a sponge. Next, work some foundation onto your skin and neck and blend well. It is mandatory that you pick a foundation according to the color of your skin in order to prevent looking ghastly in your wedding photographs. Finish it with some loose powder for a flawless finish. Experts also suggest using some bronzer on your cheeks to give a warm glow to your skin!
Begin by filling in your eyebrows with an eye brow pencil or a brown eye shadow. Apply some eye primer over your eyes to last your eye makeup for a longer period. Next, pick a light eye shadow that matches your outfit and apply it over your eyelids. An eye shadow with some shimmer looks great too! Apply a darker shade of an eye shadow on the crease and blend the two well! Makeup artists suggest that apply some highlighter right under the eyebrows to enhance the eyes. Curl eyelashes and apply mascara to finish your look.
To add a natural glow to your cheeks with a rosy flush, use a light pink or peach blusher on your cheeks. Using a blusher brush, suck in your cheeks and apply on the hollow of your cheeks starting from the apple up till the temple. Make sure you don’t take too much product to prevent it from looking artificial.
Expert tip: To enhance your features and get a dewy look, apply highlighter on the cheekbones, the temples and the cupid’s bow (The area between the lips and nose)
The final feature you must definitely accentuate well are your lips as this will complete your look. Makeup artists suggest that the best shades for bridal makeup are shades of red’s, pink’s, peach and maroon! However if your eye makeup is shimmery and elaborate, it is advisable you do not wear an extremely bright shade of lipstick.
Although our makeup tutorial is enough to get you started, it is also mandatory that you learn the tricks and techniques from a professional beforehand if you aren’t very experienced in applying makeup. We strongly advise the bride’s out there to use only good quality makeup products and brushes so as to not damage your skin. We also recommend that you do a sample trial of the makeup on yourself and get photographed to see the final results!
