Is cow milk is really beneficial for health?
Whenever we think about childhood, we always think about how our mom always told to drink, one glass milk daily. But different scientist fined different theory about cow milk. We know that cow milk contain vitamins, minerals, and calcium. But sometime it is not true, it can also harm our body.
Here we explain of pros and cons of cow milk.
• Cancer:- As we know cow milk contain lots of nutrients and vitamin D. Milk is effective for anti carcinogenic, but let’s see what experts said?
The director of clinical and pedritric studies said that “taking vitamin D in proper amount can reduces the risk of cancer. So takes food like milk and other vitamin D rich food in proper amount and also can take supplements for that. ”
On the other hand it is also said that “milk contains insulin- like growth factor, IGF-1. IGF-1 mainly responsible for the growth of children, but if you take in excess amount it stimulate cancer cells which is not good for health.”
• Heart disease:- we all know milk contain the saturated fat and fat is not good for health after a particular age. Many people said that saturated fat is bad for diabetics and increases the risk of heart disease.
Dr. Peter elwood said that cow milk does not increases the heart related disease, but if consume it regularly it lowered the risk of heart disease. The important thing is that add it in your diet in proper place. If we take any healthy food it is essential to take it at perfect time, it affect most.
Dr. Margerate moss, finds totally different theory, she found that milk consumption increases the risk of CHD(coronary heart disease). People who take large amount of milk have increases the risk of CHD death.
• Bone health:- Milk is the rich source of calcium and mom always said to drink it for the growth and for strong bones. If we consume it regularly then milk prevents you from osteoporosis.
Professor of food and nutrition concluded that it is must to take dairy products daily in proper amount. It is important to take proper diet for proper body growth. But if you avoid it, it directly reduces your health.
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine concluded that, milk does not improve the bone health. Bone health only can be increases by the physical activity. Milk is not responsible for that, so it is not must to drink milk.
Different people have different thinking about milk, but it is recommended that not to drink too much milk drink it in limit like two cup and eat other healthy food. So by this all the essential nutrients you get in proper amount.
