Homemade Face Packs For Dry Skin

Our skin reflects the image. A stunning and glowing skin compromises all other imperfections which can be easily revealed. So, utmost care should be taken to maintain the delicacy of the skin.

Especially dry skin has to be built carefully as it is sensitive to all atmospheric conditions. These conditions may include pollution and harmful rays of the sun. Dryness may get exaggerated if a shield is not provided to the skin. This shield can be created by using face packs. The face packs can be made at home and these homemade face packs prove to be more fruitful than the brands bought from the market.

Here certain face packs are mentioned which are specialized for dry skin.


Banana face pack:

Take a ripe banana. Make sure that it is not fully ripe. Smash it. Add a spoon of natural honey to it. Stir well. Then add a spoon of olive oil to the above mixture. There goes your face pack. Blend it well to make a smooth paste.

Apply the paste all over your face and leave it for ten minutes. Allow it to dry. Once it gets dried up wash it off with cool water and pat dry. You will observe instant glow. Honey clogs the moisture inside the pores whereas olive oil regulates the production of sebum in the skin membrane.


Oat face pack:

Oat can help in super nourishing the skin. It makes the best face pack for dry skin when mixed with almond. To tighten the skin you can add yogurt too.

Grind the almonds and oats together in a mixer to make it a complete powder. Pour the powder in a container and then add yogurt and honey to it. Blend well to make it a smooth paste. Apply the pack and leave it to dry. After about fifteen minutes, wash off. Pat the face dry. Your skin will become softer and a soothing look is obtained.


Cocoa face pack:

You must have heard that chocolate is highly beneficial for the skin. It holds anti oxidant and cleansing qualities. Hence chocolate cocoa can make a favorable face pack.

Take cocoa powder and add a spoon of honey to it. Mix well by adding a little oat powder. Stir the mixture while simultaneously adding coconut milk to it. Blend meticulously to make a smooth paste. Apply the paste onto your face and leave it to dry. After some time wash it off.


Papaya face pack:

Papaya is a delicious fruit and is rich in Vitamin A and potassium. Vitamin A helps in nourishing the skin, thereby fastening the process of rejuvenating the skin. Potassium is responsible for hydrating the dry and rough texture of the skin. When used with honey then you can very well estimate the benefits.

Take half cup of ripe papaya and mash it thoroughly. Add two spoons of honey to it and mix well. Make it an even paste. Apply it on the face and allow it to dry. Wash off after about thirty minutes and pat dry.


Cucumber pack:

Cucumber contains about ninety five per cent of water content. This property helps in building up the moisture level of the skin and hence the skin remains hydrated. When cucumber is mixed with aloe vera juice then the benefits get multiplied.

Get a leaf of aloe vera and extract out the gel from the same. Keep it aside. Grate a cucumber just to make a paste out of it. Mix the grated cucumber with aloe vera gel extracted earlier. Then apply the pack on the face. You can also apply it on other dried areas wherever required. It must stay on your face for at least thirty minutes. Rinse off with water. A soft, moisturised and flawless skin will be obtained.
