Hiding Holiday Stress With Makeup

Having a calendar with lots of holidays always makes us happy, as it is the best time to enjoy, shop, make a trip or for lots of fun. But the joy and fun is not same at the end of holidays. Because, these holidays full of fun can also cause stress and this can be easily reflected from your face. And especially when we need to go to office on the very next day.

 

But nothing to worry about as here are some makeup tips that can make the holiday stress fade away and will make you look fresh as always

 

1). To Deal with Messy Hair:Messy hair is the common but difficult thing to deal with after a long holiday. It is best if you can wash your hair and can use hair repair serum. But if you don’t have enough time to wash your hair then you can use some face powder on hair to remove the oiliness of the scalp. And it is better if you can make a loose side braid cascading over one shoulder, or you can also roll up your hair to make an interesting up do. As with these hair styles you don’t have to touch your hair throughout the day.

 

2). To Hide Dark Circles: Due to sleepless nights during your holidays, dark circles are very common to show up. To hide these unwanted dark circles the best way is to use a concealer. To give a natural look you can use a brighter concealer. For fair skin pink shade can do better and for medium to dark skin tone you can use apricot colour. This will hide the dark circles and will give a natural look.

 

3). Get Rid of Dry Skin: Dry skin is also a common result due to lack of sleep and more alcohol consumption. To get rid of this dryness you can use a proper foundation. And the colour choice should be based on the skin tone. Another way is to rub an oil free moisturizer on skin and add a layer of illuminating primer.

 

4). Hiding Breakouts:The stress of holidays can also appear as a pimple popped up on your skin. Now if pimple is slightly reddish then the use layer of foundation is enough to get rid of this. The foundation needs to be light to make your face look normal. But if pimple is big and reddish it needs to be covered up with concealer. Concealer needs to be an exact match of foundation otherwise it will highlight the pimple.

 

5). To Avoid Sallow Complexion:The stress of short days and long winter nights can result into a pale yellow complexion. To avoid this you can use a bronzer. It is better not to use bronzer all over your face instead you can apply it at your temples sweeping underneath the cheekbones. To get more glowing and brighter skin you can also apply a highlighter or shimmery eye shadow.

 

6). To Hide Tan on Forehead: On returning from the holiday you will find a lot of tan on your forehead. In order to hide it instantly you can use light coloured foundation. Make sure the colour of forehead should match the rest of the face.

 

7). Hiding Blotchiness:To cover up redness and shadows of your skin you can apply a yellow based concealer down the sides of your nose, outer corners of eyes. A liquid foundation can be applied with sponge to make the skin tone even.

 

These are some make up tricks that can help you in hiding the holiday stress. So from now on you need not to worry about afterward results of your holiday fun. Just enjoy to your full. Life keeps moving on, and that’s what we need to do.
